STEWARDSHIP and YOU

WHAT IS "STEWARDSHIP"?  or STEWARDSHIP and YOU

Much of what is thought about what Stewardship inlcudes is using our time, talents, and money for God. However, it really does not stop there. One definition indicates that a steward is a person who manages the affairs of a household or estate of the owner.

In a Christian relm, a steward would be considered one that manages or tends to the things God has put in our control on earth. God has made us each stewards. We should use or care for these items in a way pleasing and honoring unto Him. It all belongs to Him in the first place.  

A Christian steward serves God out of love and gratitude for what He has done for us. It's not how much we have. Rather it is what we do with what we have.  1 Peter 4:10 " Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever each of you has received."

We are to be stewards of our minds. We must strive to be at our best for the creator to use us. We have been given many abilties and talents that are unique.

These should be used to glorify our creator.
